Ethan ‘Red’ Husted
Writer, artist, performer, pharmacy technician.

About
Ethan (Red) holds a bachelor’s in sociology from CU Boulder, Colorado, and is a licensed CPhT. He has a number of interests, including; writing, illustration and graphic design, event implementation and promotion, boxing, chess, and performance arts.
Originally from the Midwest, Ethan has lived a few places, including; San Diego, San Francisco/Berkeley, Boulder, Portland, Oregon, and Boise, Idaho. His favorite travel destinations are Paris, Vienna, Prague, and Rome.
Born of an artist and writer, Ethan grew up in Missouri where he produced comic books and short stories. Taking an interest in skateboarding, he eventually evolved into footbag, becoming one of top players in the country. This involved competing in tournaments around the world, video segments and articles, and in 2007, work in the Adam Sandler film You Don’t Mess with the Zohan. He has also been involved in promotional work for other films and videos. During his Portland years, Ethan made his way as a chess instructor and performance artist (juggling). Currently recovering from his most recent boxing injury, he looks forward to returning to the sport at a later date. Ethan has written a variety of articles and stories throughout the years, and considers good communication one of the most important attributes in life. He also loves animals, especially cats. As for the longtime nickname ‘Red’, you’ll have to ask him about that sometime.
